Description
The EDKS-1GEA-PBSG is a PoE++ IP device kill switch with an integrated timer. Designed to enable or disable power to IP cameras and other PoE-powered devices, the EDKS-1GEA-PBSG is optimized for simple, effective control over privacy and confidentiality. Installed in-line with a device’s CAT5/6 cable, the EDKS-1GEA-PBSG provides a simple and effective way to toggle or temporarily disable networked devices in sensitive environments such as interview rooms, interrogation rooms, hospital rooms, and patient exam rooms.
Key Features:
✔ Toggle (on/off) or timed (momentary) operation for flexible control
✔ Customizable LED indicator – Assign red LED to signal either device on or off
✔ Adjustable timer range – 1 minute to 240 minutes or 1 hour to 24 hours
✔ Enable or disable PoE device in momentary operation
✔ Internal sounder with audible feedback – Beeps during switch presses and every second for the last 10 seconds in momentary mode
✔ Manual override – Timer countdown can be reset in the last 10 seconds
✔ Cancel timed operation at any time with another button press
✔ Silent mode available – Beeper can be disabled for discreet operation
